Mobile Voter announces the launch of its SFVote drive in association with the Chinese American Voter Education Committee (CAVEC). This campaign aims to register voters in San Francisco using Mobile Voter’s text messaging service. By texting keyword “vote” to 80837, participants will receive registration forms and instructions about how to register to vote.

Telefonica will buy O2 for $31.4B.  Telefonica which has presence in 15 countries with a base of 87M subs will increase its EU foot print with O2 in the UK, Ireland, and Isle of Mann.  This acquisition will give Telefonica presence in the EU, North Africa, North, Central and South America.  Telefonica has always been an innovator in wireless, good things should come from this.
